Excellent hosts who also create a pleasant atmosphere through their humor.For us, they have completely fulfilled their promise of being a slightly different sports restaurant!The food was just great! We stayed at the nearby campsite for several days and even had dinner there twice because the menu really offered it.A great experience.Since we're not the only ones who think it's great there, we recommend calling in advance and being a little flexible with the time or day.Stay as you are and keep it up!!!

It's hard to believe, but you can eat really delicious Spanish food in the Harz Mountains. Great cook. Nice service. Unusual place. Dankerode is an insider tip with its three restaurants.

As many here have already written before me: you shouldn't be put off by external appearances. The food was fresh, the portions were large, the drinks were cold and the service was friendly. We were actually very positively surprised because the food is actually home-made and not frozen. Really incredibly tasty for little money.

An absolute insider tip! The food tastes excellent! We had misunderstood the restaurant for a long time, unfortunately. We are pleased that things are slowly improving there despite Corona. It's already our favorite restaurant.

I baked the schnitzel with goat cheese. Simply HAMMER!!!! Everyone who comes to Dankerode should have eaten here. All dishes are freshly prepared, but you don't have to wait a little longer for your food. Absolutely recommended!!!!!

We have been to Jan's Jaststätte three times now and have always been very satisfied with the food. I would say the best restaurant in Dankerode. All dishes were made fresh. The service was very courteous and quick. The dishes are a bit unusual, like "schnitzel and fries" - here you can tell that the chef is passionate about his craft. Jung's keep it up, you're great.
